An eventful F650 and the new F450 champion!

Day 2 and 3 of Femundløpet 2022, is proving not to lack action!

Changes in the top - F650

Petter Jahnsen was the first to arrive to the first checkpoint, Drevsjø 1, in the middle of the night.

Second into Drevsjø checkpoint was Amund Rognes Kokkvoll, followed by, Kristoffer Halvorsen.

It proved to be a snowy and windy ride on the way to the next checkpoint, Flendalen. Birgitte Næss would hold the lead all the way there. With Kristoffer Halvorsen, Robert Sørlie and Thomas Wærner not far behind.

Teams are scratching

Brigitte would lead all the way to Drevsjø 2, before her and her team sadly had to scratch. The runner up Kristoffer Halvorsen also dropped out not long after her. Most likely to to tough trails and windy weather.

The new F450 Champion

The F450 could announce the winner, Saturday morning, 5th of February at 11:47:52. We congratulate local musher Ove Grytbak with his first victory at Femund.

From Tolga, Ove Grytbak and Leif Tore Lie was fighting for the lead, but it was Ove that got to Røros first. Ove has had a very good race from start, managing to fight in the top 10 all the way through and is well deserving of his new title.

This has been a very exciting F450. With many teams up front and different strategies!
