Grand Portage, Minnesota - Erin Letzring becomes the first female musher to take the crown at the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon since in 1998!

Around 6:20 PM. Erin completed the 300-mile racing. Beating the 2020 champion with only 7 seconds. A near photo-finish in the mushing sport.

Letzring managed to stay among the top teams since the very beginning of this years race. As a extra great achievement she also gained the victory in her rookie year.
